JOB PROFILE

• Draft, review, and manage a broad range of commercial and corporate agreements
• Support statutory and regulatory compliance in line with Sri Lankan legal requirements
• Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the business
• Maintain legal records, filings, and documentation in an organized and compliant manner
• Monitor ongoing litigation and prepare internal status updates
• Liaise with external parties including company secretaries, registrars, and other authorities
• Support PDPA-related initiatives, including privacy notices, consent clauses, data-sharing agreements, and cross-border data assessments
• Work closely with business units to provide practical legal insights and support on operational matters

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

• A recognized local or foreign law degree (LLB) with 5-7 years' post-qualification experience, preferably in corporate or commercial law
• Admitted as an Attorney-at-Law in Sri Lanka, with a valid practicing status
• Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office, legal research databases, document automation tools, and collaboration platforms
• Adaptable and comfortable working with new legal-tech systems and tools
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and research skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
